Magazine Cover

This is our magazine cover. We used Adobe Fireworks to create this. We would have liked it to look a bit more professional, but as we hadn't learnt any photo editing skills we did the best we could with the knowledge we have gained from our research into film magazines.

We tried to follow the conventions of other romance magazine covers we'd researched in these ways:

• There is a picture of the main character, in character, and this is the focal point.
• The name of the magazine is big and bold. 
• The colour scheme is consistent.
• There are the necessities such as price and bar code.
• There are incentives to buy the magazine, such as free gifts.
• The colour scheme is relatively gender neutral.
• The segment regarding the film has the largest font.
• Other segment adverts are smaller.
• The font is clear.
